Virtual Anxiety Therapy for Young Women in Jupiter, FL & Across Florida

Helping you stop overthinking relationships, break people-pleasing patterns, and build more secure, confident connections.

I specialize in working with teens and young women experiencing anxiety, especially when it shows up in relationships, friendships, and day-to-day life. Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, fear of rejection, or feeling stuck in patterns that impact their confidence and connections.

For teens, this may look like navigating friendships, social stress, and identity development. For young adult women, it often shows up in dating, relationship patterns, and difficulty trusting themselves. Therapy focuses on building self-awareness, strengthening boundaries, and creating more secure, grounded ways of relating to both yourself and others.

I’m Abigail Anderson, a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) based in Jupiter, Florida. I provide virtual therapy for teens, college-aged students, and young adult women across Florida.

Relationships & boundaries

You care deeply about others, but often find yourself feeling anxious about how you’re perceived or whether you’ve done something wrong. You might say “yes” when you mean “no,” avoid conflict, or take on responsibility for other people’s emotions, leaving you feeling drained or disconnected from yourself. Over time, this can turn into a pattern of losing yourself in relationships or second-guessing your needs. Even when you know something isn’t working, it can feel hard to change.

In our work together, we’ll focus on building the confidence to communicate honestly, set boundaries without guilt, and stay connected to yourself so your relationships feel more balanced, secure, and aligned.

Life transitions & self-discovery

Transitions like graduating, starting a new job, moving, or ending a relationship can all bring anxiety and uncertainty about who you are and what’s next. You may feel pressured to have it all figured out, and be feeling unsure or disconnected from yourself.

I help women navigate these seasons of change by reconnecting with their values, sense of direction, and inner voice. Together, we will build the clarity and confidence needed to move forward with intention.

Self- worth & Inner Confidence

When you’ve spent years overthinking and putting others first, it can feel difficult to know what you need. You might find yourself comparing, self-doubting, or feeling “not enough”. Therapy can help you rebuild trust in yourself and your judgment, shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion.

Through our work, you’ll learn how to feel more comfortable taking up space, setting boundaries, and believing that you’re worthy of rest, joy, and peace, not just productivity.

Anxiety & Overthinking

You might look calm and capable on the outside, but constantly overthink and question yourself on the inside. You might replay conversations, wonder if people are upset with you, or feel like you can never fully relax. This pattern of overthinking and self-criticism can often stem from anxiety mixed with perfectionism and people-pleasing.

In our work together, we will explore what drives these thought loops and learn how to separate who you are from what your anxiety says about you. You’ll build tools to manage your mind, soften your inner critic, and show up more authentically.

How I Can Help:

My Approach

I provide virtual therapy for teens and young women across Florida.

In therapy, we will explore anxious patterns, associated emotions, and relationships through an attachment lens, building both insight and practical tools to manage stress and understand how the past impacts the present. My work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, and mindfulness-based approaches to help you get in the present moment, understand patterns that are keeping you stuck, deepen emotional connection, and create meaningful change.

I’m also trained in EMDR, a trauma-informed approach that supports healing from past experiences that may be affecting your current reactions or relationships.

Client Testimonials

Our daughter went to Abigail during a difficult transition at school, and Abigail was so patient and able to get our daughter to open up and really make so much progress during the school year. We are so grateful for her time; she was effective and caring, and so personable.

– Parent of a past client

I met Abigail shortly after I turned 25. I was overwhelmed, anxious, and felt like I had to carry the world on my shoulders. Abigail was just the right therapist to help me on my journey. She is informed and relatable. Kind, loves her job and is a joy to talk to. Transitioning into young adult life I was carrying a lot of the trauma from the past and she really helped me work through it and give me the tools to not just survive, but thrive.

– Client

I’ve been seeing Abigail for around 4 months now. Upon our first session, I immediately felt comfortable opening up to her. She is very kind and understanding, as all therapists should be. She’s wonderful, and I can confidently say that since I started seeing her, my anxiety, which I initially came to her for, has lessened and become much more manageable.
